The Yardworks is a visionary feasibility study for a new incubator and workshop hub, designed to support and grow local business startups. Located on a commercially and industrially zoned site, the proposal brings together flexible workspaces, studios, and a larger tech-enabled unit for potential research or distribution functions, creating a future-facing platform for entrepreneurial activity.
Each workshop unit is conceived with adaptability at its core, based on a 100m² modular system that can be combined or subdivided to suit a wide variety of businesses. The masterplan prioritises landscape integration and neighbour sensitivity through strategic planting, green buffers, and public realm enhancements that invite the surrounding community in.
