We passed the new settlement at Auch Estate, just beyond Tyndrum, and stopped for a closer look. The timber cottages sit quietly within the landscape, simple and well-proportioned, with a calm, contemporary feel that still reads as part of the working estate. The wider development replaces older farm buildings with new accommodation and infrastructure, with a clear emphasis on reuse and low-impact rural construction. Lovely to see simple robust architecture in wild landscape setting.
